           EMF RADIATION

We are all surrounded by radiation - at home, at work and out on the road.
We all use domestic appliances, computers and cordless phones throughout the D
ay. All of these products are sources of electromagnetic radiation, as are GSM and UMTS masts

About Dr. Devra Davis

Cited by TIME, Newsweek, and other major media, Environmental Health Trust consistently provides cutting-edge research and education about cellphones and other environmental health hazards and promotes constructive policies locally, nationally and internationally, bringing you the world's top science and scientists.

EHT is led by Dr. Devra Davis, PhD,. MPH, an award-winning, internationally renowned scientist who also was the founding director of the Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology of the U.S. National Research Council, National Academy of Sciences.

Dr. Magda Havas simplifies the engineering behind Electro Magnetic Fields and dispels the

myths of safety that have been misleadingly created by our Goverrnments and Technology experts.

Dr. Havas is an associate professor of Environmental & Resource Studies at Trent University where she teaches and does research on the biological effects of environmental contaminants. Her research deals with the health effects of non-ionizing electromagnetic energy at the extremely low frequency range associated with electricity (60 Hertz) and at the radio frequency range commonly associated with wireless telecommunication. Dr. Havas is particularly interested in monitoring exposure of the population in urban centres to radio frequency radiation and power-frequency fields. She is the author of numerous works on the subject. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, completed Post-Doctoral research at Cornell University, and taught at the University of Toronto before going to Trent University in Peterborough, Canada.

What is Radiation?

(Electromagnetic) radiation is essentially energy that is transmitted in the form of electromagnetic waves or particles. These waves differ in type, wavelength and frequency and can be flowing or blocked, which is what happens when they are briefly interrupted by a mobile or cordless phone for example. The length of the wave is directly related to the frequency (the number of waves per second). At the low-frequency end of the spectrum it is possible to make a distinction between electrical fields and magnetic fields. We do not make this distinction here. We refer to both as radiation.

Sources of Radiation

Most people know that mobile/cell phones emit radiation. But there are also many other sources of radiation that can be experienced as very disturbing.

Sources of radiation inside your home which need radiation protection:

mobile/cordless phones

baby monitors
computers halogen transformers
televisions induction hobs
energy efficient and fluorescent light bulbs electrically adjustible beds
the electrical system in your home electric blankets
microwaves wireless networks
dimmer switches and transformers waterbeds

Sources of radiation outside your home which need radiation protection:

GSM and UMTS masts
high-voltage cables
power supply systems for trains and trams
satellite transmitters
terrestial radiation (emitted by the earth)
transformer cabinets
Smart Meters

Physical Ailments and Hypersensitivity to Radiation

There are various factors that determine whether radiation has an adverse effect on a person’s health.

  • the frequency of the radiation (the number of waves per second)
  • the intensity of the radiation
  • the shape of the radiation
  • the duration of exposure to the radiation

Magda Havas demonstrates how WiFi connects your laptop, iPhone and iPad to the internet via microwave radiation. You will also learn how WiFi base stations, portable phones and baby monitors constantly radiate microwave radiation. The Swiss Government feels that all of these devices have the potential to do great harm if used incorrectly and warn their citizens.

Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt PhD- Smart Meters and EMR - The Health Crisis of our Time

Fascinating review of what Dr. Klinghardt refers to as diseases of our generation, from Autism to Fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome - all created by the wireless revolution.

Since we are all different, we experience the effects of radiation differently. The intensity of the reaction to radiation also differs from one person to another. People who experience severe symptoms as a result of exposure to radiation are said to suffer from electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS). It is also common for people to (initially) experience less pronounced sensitivity to radiation. However, ailments such as fatigue and headaches could be a warning sign. Many electro-hypersensitives have found that symptoms that start out as mild can become more severe. As heard on the Keith Scott-Mumby EMF Teleseminar

We Will Keep You Updated
Although the dangers of wireless are not yet clear - as much as was smoking in the past, common sense dictates that if the shape of matter is influenced by frequency then it is possible that powerful invading frequencies could effect the fragile sacred geometry that composes and maintains the health of all living things.
